We Care

Our first priority is to help families with young children get outside and enjoy the world around them. Coming in at a close second is a keen awareness of how each of us affects the world through the choices we make. You’ll find that each of the brands we sell has a similar philosophy, and that’s important.

Play Outdoors is based in the outdoorsy, stylish and adventurous town of Bend, Oregon. In one day here you can fish in a stream, kayak on a lake, ski at Mt. Bachelor, mountain bike a scenic trail, hike along the river, catch an up-and-coming band at a hot-spot and eat some of the finest food available anywhere. And, at every stop you’ll run into people who put family, health, and the environment at the top of their priority list. These are the people who represent our customers all over the world. Since we’re not a brick-and-mortar store, we connect with the people in our home town to be sure we’re living up to our standards.

Locally, we support the Healthy Waters Institute, the Mount Bachelor Ski Education Foundation and Working Wonders Children’s Museum. As time goes on, we’ll be looking to sponsor similar not-for-profit entities in your neck of the woods. Keep in touch.
